Summary: This paper seeks to reflect on the ways in which quilombo communities jongueiras North Sape Territory, in northern Espírito Santo, are taking jongo practices, religious cult Heritage Brazilian, as a cultural reference to demarcate their identities. Also observes how the jongueira communities and caxambuzeiras of southeastern Brazil are articulated and claiming, as of Safeguard policies of assets recorded as Brazilian cultural heritage, recognition of their territories, as well as ensuring their ethnic rights. And examine ways of organizing social and their social articulations, cultural, religious and political communities of the Quilombo of Porto Grande and Linharinho.
